I first saw this film in a class lecture. We see the family members surrounding Gilbert in a casual way, and I remember being impressed by the simplicity of life, the way each of them faced their own challenges and people, and their unwavering family love. Above all, Leonardo DiCaprio's performance was realistic, lovable, unique, and eye-catching, naturally expressing characterization and detailed traits, which again frightened me.
