This movie is an absolute classic & There’s debate on whether this movie was supposed to campy or Funny. Quentin Tarantino admits that this movie was not one of his favorites and that he feels like he didn’t put much effort into making the movie. as I watched it, I didn’t get a hint of any of that. This movie is set in Austin, Texas and you can actually visit some of the places that it was filmed. You immediately get immersed in the world of the three characters at the beginning of the movie. then what seems so sudden the three characters are pulled out of the movie and the movie sets on three completely different characters. The movie is like being slapped in the face and enjoying it. I didn’t know what twist and turns awaited me this entire movie and I absolutely love that in a movie. The atmosphere and outfits and locations of this movie are phenomenal and they set a tone in this movie that makes you yearn for more. I love that this movie doesn’t take itself too seriously but it’s also so well written and executed that you wouldn’t know the difference. I don’t care what anybody says. This is a classic and it’s one of my favorite Quentin Tarantino movies of all time. I know pulp fiction and inglorious bastards exceeded this movie, but this movie will always be a hidden gem to me.
