a group of intelligent children who discover their orphanage is actually a farm and is raising them to become "high-quality meat" for demons to consume. the whole premise of it surrounds how emma, ray, and norman (the trio that was considered the smarter ones) devise a plan to escape, while going through hurdles. i dropped it after finishing the 1st season, and i didn't bother watching the 2nd season because i heard then they don't follow the manga? i mainly watched this because one of my friends kept using this anime as a reference, and i couldn't get it.
