Hannah Green (and Mary Boleyn) is my favorite character of Philippa Gregories Tudor court novels. She was such an undecsicive teenager at the start but grew into a strong, principled woman who can survive in a war zone with a toddler (yes she had a lot of luck but also a lot of skill) I loved the plot when it was NOT about the court but the dangerous life and love of Hannah. I even cried two times in this book. PS: for all the shit Daniel did and said to Hannah, one should only hope to find such a good husband even now.
