there’s an empty, unwell feeling that comes right after new year’s eve, and i can’t quite put it into words. once the fireworks fade and the world goes back to normal, i’m left sitting with my thoughts and the weight of another year gone. it feels uncomfortable and heavy, but it also reminds me that i’m still here, still growing, even if the process doesn’t feel easy yet.
