This video is one of the best ways that people have shown their vulnerability. It took me about 11 hours of thinking about it before I decided to write about it. Although the main idea of the video was exploring castles in Scotland, Yes Theory has provided a space where people do not seem to fear opening up and showing their flawed sides. I admire the way they spoke about their hardships and their willingness to change. It felt like their masculinity increases with their vulnerability. It really broke the generalized viewpoint that to cry is to be weak. When I saw the strongman cry, I really thought that he was really strong for showing emotions. It requires a whole lot of strength to bear your heart out to the world. It takes acceptance and the willingness to be observed by the public of things that were supposedly personal to you. Their resiliency really shined through and it brought me to tears. Their personal struggles carried feelings familiar to all humans which made me resonate with them all too well. Yes Theory has a lot of stories of real humans, but this recent video kept staying on my mind rent free that I felt like I needed to write about it.
