two things: if I had to choose between Patrick Dempsey and some typical conservative southern man I’m immediately picking Patrick Dempsey NO DOUBT as someone who’s born and raised in the south this movie is too accurate to the culture round here and I don’t like it

PLS i’m also from the south and i get where you’re coming from. that’s why every time i watch, i have to distance myself from the entire plot of the movie or else it gets too real and too… yk? it’s just rhe fact that i grew up watching it and the visual aspect of the movie is nostalgic, but it makes sense that it was made in 2002 so im leaving it at that. also the song is a banger.
