They say the year only starts after Carnival, but I feel like mine started last year. I think, I'm just trying to focus on the good things this year has brought, and trying to pretend that I believe I'm calmly emerging from times that aren't as hopeful as this one promises to be. Hopefully, things will keep their promise to change.
