the ending was ass
as a fan of stranger things since s2 and someone who has been in the fandom since then, this season was so disappointing. after how much the actors kept hyping it up, we were all looking forward to it. i genuinely don't understand how some people are okay with this ending... like it clearly shows you haven't watched a show with a good ending (๑•̌.•̑๑)ˀ̣ˀ̣ some people are gonna say that our expectations were just too high but i don't agree with that: the brothers have always done an exceptional job when it comes to writing. why else would this show be so popular and mainstream?? i would 100% believe if someone told me this season was written by completely different people. something i have noticed from the brothers throughout the seasons of stranger things is that they are too afraid to kill off the main characters (think of that scene of Steve) they ALWAYS kill the new characters that get introduced the same season like Bob, Chrissy, Billy, Eddie and my pookie Alexei. i absolutely hated the rooftop scene. the clothes they wore felt modern and it felt more like the actors talking instead of the characters. the scene with the giant creature felt suspense less (unlike in previous seasons with other monsters) and unrealistic because the characters defeated it quickly and no one was seriously injured. the queerbaiting was INSANE because wdym you give them a slowburn just to not commit to it at the end...
