With zero promotion but a sublime script, Dead of Winter is a thriller that kept us on the edge of our seats. It features excellent performances by Emma Thompson and Judy Greer. The scenery is raw, imposing, and spectacular all at once. It’s an excellent movie to enjoy on a cold afternoon with your favorite warm drink. And while it’s not a massive blockbuster with a giant production, it doesn’t need any of that to make an impact and leave you feeling fully satisfied. Highly recommended.
