I adore this book. It’s absolutely true that by the end of it you will hate every single character with a burning passion, but that’s kind of the point. It’s not a love story. It’s a story about a cycle of hate and toxicity, of racism and classism all trapped in one family. P.S. The movie is pure ragebait and I will not be watching it.
