I sobbed really hard throughout this movie Percy was such a punchable character. I found his voice and his attitude unbearable, and his ending was 100% deserved. It made me wish that real-world monsters faced that kind of immediate karma. John Coffey represents all the innocent people who are sent to jail or sentenced to death for crimes they didn’t commit. While the execution of those who actually committed heinous crimes felt like justice, seeing it happen to someone like John was just heartbreaking
