You can predict the movie theme when Kilee(the main protagonist)found a hanged doll with pins stuck to it at their brand new home when they moved into a new town .It's a quite common story about voodoo stuff & teenage problems but I can say that this movie is pretty well written,good acting and good production too. Yes, there are few scenes that I wish could've been done better like those times that Kilee keeps on bringing the doll everywhere & "forgetting" to zip her bag fully. But if you won't be too critical about it,it's okay because it's for the story flow anyway. I've enjoy it though(watched it more than once).As someone who grew up reading and watching goosebumps, it gives me that enough thrill to enjoy the movie. It's a good horror/thriller movie for young teens to adults if you appreciate a movie like this. Actually it's good for youngsters because it doesn't have those "intimate" scenes that's sometimes in this type of genre. that's a plus point for me tbh. ***I wish they made a proper sequel for this movie because its ending was left on "open ended"***
