Such a picturesque and beautiful city. I did the audio tour they offer on the tourism website, and it was interesting, though there are a few things that could be improved. I can’t help comparing it to the Rick Steves city tours, which I love. In this one, for example, it wasn’t always easy to follow the directions or figure out where you were, and the map didn’t help much. But I did enjoy the content. This was actually my second time visiting Bremen. The first time was 8 years ago, it was the first city I ever explored completely on my own, and in another country! With zero signal and zero internet. Kind of crazy when I think about it now. It was nice doing the walk and remembering little things, like the Miny Eiscafé Mario where I once had ice cream with friends, or passing by the biergartens along the promenade and thinking about the time I walked there recording videos to later share with my family (once I finally had WiFi).
