Rewatching Stranger Things Season 1 with my boyfriend was a lot of fun. Even though I remembered almost every plot point, it still felt great to revisit the story and these characters. The mystery around Will’s disappearance, the Upside Down, and Eleven works really well. Watching the kids search for Will and refuse to give up on their friend is heartwarming, and it almost feels like you’re their neighbor witnessing everything happening. The kids are adorable and surprisingly smart and brave. Their little fights and the way they make up feel very real. Since it’s the first season, everyone is still a bit “green,” and characters like Eleven and Nancy are clearly still growing into who they become later. One thing I noticed more this time is Mrs. Wheeler. Mike and Nancy rarely talk to her, which feels a bit sad because she seems like such a caring mom who is always ready to listen or give them a hug.
