this ep is such a deep dive of duang and qin's relationship with the people who shaped them into becoming themselves and i just love how p'kla didn't disregard those kind of things when it comes to expounding how they were in the novel because it just made the characters SO much better now that they're officially together, duang wants to do his best to make qin feel loved the way he did when he was still courting him and because of that he tends to become more impulsive. actually they were both valid about the camera, duang loves qin so much that he's willing to give qin everything he wants in life which actually made him spend 55k baht over a cam but like what qin said, you should only gift someone what you can actually afford to buy because there's a tendency for that person to feel indebted even if you don't intend to make them feel that way. this episode also made me feel very fond of duang's gang and qin's fg. duang's gang dynamics is such an accurate representation of how majority of trios work irl. jamie cares so much about duang so he obviously would feel frustrated if duang isn't listening to their advice, he was so worried that duang is too busy giving things to qin (that qin didn't even ask for) to the point where it will leave duang empty. pae is the regulator in their fg but he's not the type to condone u when he thinks u're in the wrong, he's very blunt and that makes their trio balanced. these 3, especially jamie and duang, they tend to speak with their emotions like their emotions might get to them before their rationality which leads them to say hurtful things they don't mean. on the other hand, qin's fg doesn't hold back when they think someone among them is being irrational and they're actually quick to resolve things just by listening to each other, qin explained that he's the one responsible for messing up their practice and duang has nothing to do with it but he's also sorry for being distracted bc of him and duang's misunderstandings and he's to take accountability for it which was understood by tong and kim immediately. the way their bonds ground them may seem different but they both value and respect their friends just as much as they do to each other. lastly, after being told off by kim (idk if that's the correct term but yeah ykwim), duang actually waited until qin is available to talk to bc he respects qin's friends just as much as he respects him, something i love abt duang's personality! now...qin's past is a very sensitive topic, for a child that small to experience emotional and physical abuse without even knowing who to reach out to because of blackmailing..we need to genuinely k word someone. first of all, qin's parents are one to blame because how distant are u to your child to not now he's being abused, everyday you let a babysitter take care of your child without even checking the cctvs in ur house, u don't even dress ur own child to the point where u just saw the bruises the exact moment a psychiatrist asked u to check ur son like i'm speechless how can u be this irresponsible towards a child who can't even read properly yet no why would u even have a child you know u can't manage yourself because of your job? the babysitter was indeed right that they're irresponsible parents but it makes me feel sick that she had the right to police the parents for being absent when she doubled no quadrupled the fucking trauma that was inflicted on qin...i am still so mad they didn't file a case AND literally just pretended like nothing happened after that entire mess. must be embarrassing to realize you failed to be the good parents u wanted to be. like it's just sad that duang who's not even qin's relative is the one to actually help him heal and let go from his trauma. qin grew up to not be dependent on his parents all his life, and not to other people to so he literally just only had himself. qin is the proof that one's trauma is not a reason for being a horrible person, because from all that trauma he knows better not to hurt someone he's supposed to love.
