i think a lot of people had unrealistic expectations for this movie and ended up genuinely disappointed. it deals with dark humor and social situations that many people might encounter on any given day—not saying it’s right, but here the awkwardness is portrayed quite accurately, because that’s how it is in real life. you never really know how you’ll react or behave. and on top of that, the editing is something else entirely. everyone is a fucking weirdo here, dude. but this is not a rom-com, that's for sure.
