The idea of "Eternity" is actually way more adorable than I expected. The film centers on a love triangle that unfolds in the afterlife, where the main character reconnects with two different loves from different chapters of her life. It’s not about cheating or betrayal: it’s more about fate, timing, and how one unexpected event separates three people across different timelines. The whole concept feels imaginative but still emotionally grounded. And honestly, when it comes to bold and slightly offbeat ideas like this, you can really feel that A24 signature that always bringing something fresh and unexpected. Like I said, the idea is super fun. It blends spiritual fantasy, romance, and comedy in a way that feels charming and a little whimsical. The world-building is pretty solid and refreshing, with sweet romantic moments balanced by touches of vintage-style humor. Elizabeth Olsen gives exactly what she’s good at... that soft, slightly awkward, emotionally vulnerable energy, and it really works here. She fits Joan so naturally, like the role was written just for her. That said, I do have a small critiques. Even though the idea is strong, the middle part drags a bit for me. It feels like there was so much more that could’ve been explored with this concept, but some of it just wasn’t developed deeply enough. Because of that, my high expectations dipped slightly halfway through. Still, it’s aesthetically pleasing and easy to watch. If you’re looking for something light, quirky, and a little comforting after a long day, "Eternity" is still an adorable pick.
