People will definitely want to watch this cause the ensemble cast is very beautiful and hot and pretty, but honestly, that wasn’t what pulled me in at the first place hahaha. I was mostly attracted by the poster and the title that are very quirky/comical, and I didn’t even realize this was based on real historical events... so yeah, that part was a nice bonus. Speaking of the cast, I’m not a huge Henry Cavill fan, but he worked for me here, even if he was kind of overshadowed by Alan, Eiza, and Henry (at least in my eyes). And wow, the cast is stacked! you definitely can feel that big budget going to that alone. This is a historical film loosely based on real events during World War II, focusing on a secret British operation that helped lay the groundwork for modern special forces. It follows a small, unconventional military officials team tasked with sabotaging Nazi operations using methods that were definitely not “gentlemanly” (hence the title). I can’t say how accurate everything is, but it’s presented in a very fun way, with nonstop, swinging spy-movie-style bgm from start to finish. I enjoyed it, though the pacing felt a bit flat throughout nothing really surprised me from start to finish. Overall, it’s good and entertaining, just not an easy watch for everyone I guess. Action fans might not be fully satisfied, tho I personally thought the final battle was pretty cool.
