erhmm ill start off by saying I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender about 4 times in my childhood and now that I'm able to witness this movie as an adult, it does not feel like it did the original series much justice. the concepts were nice? I really disliked the spirit from the spirit realm.. too much character and it just felt more of a fever dream than something to belong in the movie. I get they were trying to add the same charm that the OG series had but it felt like they were trying way too hard. the pacing felt a little weird given for a movie and the story could have been some degree better. Zuko did NOT get enough screen time either, felt like he was thrown in there only bc he was a main character. idk, this movie was not satisfying as someone who dearly loved the series. big rip
