ik that it's a part of a series but the ending could gave been a bit better?..I was confused the whole time , like what is happening??!! I had huge expectations when I began but I found myself losing it as the book went on...there were alot of random unwanted plot lines and the main lore was not described well enough(or maybe I didn't understand it? idk) the only thing I liked about this book would be the tension between Evangeline and Jack's....but personally I don't like thier personality,seemed too bland.I was defending Evangeline's naive af behavior at first but why does she keep making dumb choices?!!help....I started off the second book and soo far it feels lowkey the same.tbh the plot has a lot of insane potential but idk if it's gonna be good or not cuz alot of reviews were telling the ending was bad... should I keep reading this series or just drop it???
