She was getting ready for her high school farewell. It was already late, and her parents were waiting for her, calling her downstairs. While she was wearing her lucky bracelet that her grandma gave her, she was looking in the mirror and admiring herself. She kissed herself by kissing her reflection in the mirror and went downstairs. She sat in the car, looking outside the window with a soft smile on her face. The fresh wind was touching her face. She arrived at her school—she looked here and there; it was so shiny and decorated. She opened the car door and stepped outside the car. When she looked straight, her eyes met a boy whom she fell in love with at first sight. The boy was admiring her with sparkling brown eyes and a soft smile. Wearing a long, silky olive-green dress with thin straps, the dress was elegant and flowy. She's not less than a fairy. The man stood there in a sleek black suit, accompanied by a crisp white shirt and a matching black tie, holding a glass of juice that nearly slipped from his grasp as he gazed at her in admiration. Their eyes locked in a moment of enchantment until her mother, pressed for time, whisked her inside the school. Even as she was pulled away, they remained captivated by each other’s gaze for those fleeting eleven seconds, each one feeling impossibly special. Once she entered the building and met up with her friends, thoughts of the stranger with the striking hazel green eyes lingered in the back of her mind. In a quiet corner, she felt her cheeks flush while her friends busied themselves taking pictures. One particularly observant friend noticed her blush and made her way over, asking, "So, who is he?" Reality hit her hard as she responded, "Who?" feigning ignorance. Her friend shot her a playful wink and said, "You know exactly who I mean." For a moment, she felt frozen, then firmly shook her head, insisting, "No! No! No! It’s not him!" Her friend pressed on, "Then who?" to be continued....
