kaoruko and rintaro are one of my fav anime couples by far, literally so cute and wholesome together and i really loved this slice of life... but it felt like subaru had such an unnecessary character arc slapped in there and that she had more screen time than the female lead bro. kindddaaa disappointing, whenever she was around it felt like it was all about her. wouldve rather spared some of that to get to know rintaro's friends. but i enjoyed it nonetheless, totally gonna make rintaro fanart as an excuse to draw desserts c:
