so the rating isn’t for the pain, because that comes and goes and who doesn’t like a little pain? it’s for the amount of time i had to wait for this dang shot when i had already waited over a month for this appt and over four months for this pain to be gone. my appt was set for 1:40 and im supposed to be there by 1:10. i get there at 12:50. it literally gets to 2 and i still haven’t been seen. it doesn’t help that with the pain i was suffering from doesn’t let me sit comfortably in certain cushioned seats without pain and my back can’t take leaning back so i have full pressure on my spinal cord. 2:20 and i take myself to the front desk and ask if there was a delay with the schedule for their response to be… ‘ yes there’s a 20-40 minute backup ‘ and i just had to take it. every time that door would open, my patience would go thinner than my mothers hair until i just broke down crying from how frustrating it was. everyone was apologetic and i didn’t say anything because it truly wasn’t their fault. anyways, everything went smoother this time and im glad for it. unfortunately, there’s still some pain pathways acting up so surgery might just be the go ahead and we shall see what the neuro says when i see him next.
