The thing is, for all its faults one thing Wakanda Forever    gave me was lots more time in Wakanda itself. Unlike the MCU's various versions of Asgard it feels like a real place, with real culture & politics. A legitimate fantasy world akin to Middle Earth While some story elements initially were puzzling but actually quite compelling in retrospect, this is a very strong sequel to the original Black Panther. It suffers immensely from the pacing but overall is a moving exploration of grief, loss and taking on huge responsibility. I loved Shuri’s arc and found its resolution to be very impactful in its message. The introduction of Namor into this world was done great and while comic accurate, the changes made to his character were cool. Visually this film was outstanding and I loved the world building a lot. I also appreciated seeing the bit of Namor’s world too even if it was brief.
