my half baked review after watching this: its a good movie, but just good, nothing more. all the characters are solid in their own roles, and none of them feel weak. but at the same time… it feels like it could've been more, especially with Scott and Cassie. Cassie, in particular, suddenly being all grown up and super smart feels a bit rushed. Hank also barely shows up, which is a shame because i think his character is powerful enough to have a bigger presence instead of just appearing toward the end. as the opening for Phase 5, Kang's introduction is decent. it works, but i wouldn't call it amazing... though to be fair, a lot of things do get explained. even so, despite focusing on the whole Quantumania storyline and the danger surrounding Scott, it still carries that classic Scott Lang humor and the heartwarming family dynamic. so yeah... it still feels like an Ant Man movie to me.
