I’ve watched The Devil Wears Prada several times because I didn’t fully grasp the movie at first. Back in college, I was purely on Andy’s side—I was young and idealistic. However, after gaining some real-world career experience and re-watching it, I finally understood Nigel’s line: “You’re whining.” It made me realize that your attitude toward work should never be purely self-centered. This viewing was still absolutely stunning. The dynamic camera angles, the thrilling pace, and the overall aesthetic were perfect. One thing I found disappointing, though, was the somewhat predictable plot where the villain is portrayed too one-dimensionally and loses everything, while the "good" person wins it all. I personally preferred the nuance of the first half (or the original's realism), as it felt more grounded in reality. Still, as a professional, this is a "life movie" that makes me reflect on my career mindset. I'll definitely be revisiting this one again and again.
That’s all
