doctor mmc & writer fmc. friends to lovers (childhood friends). slow burn. second chance. dual timeline concept. summer reading. another five-star book i’ve read so far this year. knowing the adaptation will be released this coming june 10 had me giggling and kicking my feet. i loved the flashbacks and the flow of the story, especially the characters’ dynamic. i don’t know, but this one really touched my heart. in the end, they both chose to understand each other and leave the past mistakes behind because, after everything, they knew they were meant for each other. great book!
