i’m honestly so glad i ended up going to this wedding because i almost didn’t due to my sciatica. i wore my purple ao dai from tet because i truly do not have wedding clothes. put on makeup for the first time since tet, now that i think about it, and i actually had to walk myself through each step because i forgot. bro, my job was literally a beauty advisor and i forgot the steps to a makeup routine. it’s okay because lookie so pretty !! and then i decided to use my new charlotte tilbury heart compact that reminds me of sailor moon so i had to have it. i actually was told by reps that it wouldn’t be coming back and that was back in june ish of last year so i felt defeated and was completely surprised when my rep friend posted they were available again. she even shipped it to me with goodies and i just love life. wedding time!! rained so much that day and i luckily had an umbrella, but dad had to trudge through the rain and get soaked since he dropped mom off at the front like the boss she is. we were def an hour late, but timing was perfect because food came out soon after. the only drinks available at the table in the beginning were only coke and sprite and water, then beer made its entrance, until the options were given: hennessy or [garbled] tequila maybe? baby, when the henny was offered, i turned into a damn bobble head with how i was nodding my head yes. one shot kinda turned into three and then seven. then, dad decided to give away the rest of the bottle to a friend that was working the event (don’t worry, mom questioned him on that and he said he didn’t want me drinking more, but the real reason is the friend is probably an alc). and with that, the bottle was done and mom and dad went home.
