I was expecting a chill slice of life, not THIS do I know anything about Shogi? no. did I enjoy all 22 eps? YES. there's some long & complex game analysis, but it didn't bore me. i actually enjoyed the quiet intensity

not a fan of lifelike motions. pacing issues in some parts (much smoother at 1.5x) but that rain scene was AWESOME and the ending was perfect, def my fav part! some dialogues were off but the theme is great
