I really want to improve my drawing skills, and lately I’ve also been thinking about getting some new art supplies. I feel like I need a new drawing pen. The Joyko one I’ve been using is starting to wear down. For some reason, the tip keeps getting eroded the more I use it, and when I try to use it again later, it doesn’t feel as smooth or precise anymore. It’s a little frustrating, especially when I’m in the mood to draw seriously.
I’ve been thinking about switching to the Sakura Micron brand instead. A lot of my friends recommend it and say it’s really good and long-lasting. I’m curious to try it myself and see if it makes a difference in my linework. I also want to experiment with acrylic marker painting someday. It looks so fun and bold. And I’ve been wanting to try coloring with Languo gel pens too. I can already imagine how satisfying the colors would look on my sketchbook paper.
More than anything, I want to fill my sketchbook with drawings. I don’t want it to stay half-empty anymore. I also know that I need to seriously study digital drawing, animation basics, and color theory.
There’s still so much to learn, but I'm so busy with school (T^T)
