recommend playing this for the Potter universe cinematic experience and not as a game. movie experience wise, it's top notch, u get to attend magic classes, learn spells, fly around on brooms, collect /breed magical beasts (specially naughty Nifflers yoinking gold from vendors loll), explore the insanely detailed Hogwarts castle, visit iconic locations, decorate the Room of Requirement animal crossing style, etc. 👍 storywise, it's eh, passable. the voice acting also, eh, ok. but there's SO MUCH dialogue it kinda makes u wanna skip the nonessential NPC chatter. as a game tho, it's, ehhh, mid. combat's a bit janky, specifically the targetting system. also once u learn the unforgivable curses, even the hardest difficulty's a breeze (except last boss, he was annoying af) 🫤 visuals and terrain designs degrade quite a bit outside of Hogwarts too, side quests boring. overall, if ur Potter fan, this will def scratch the itch, but don't expect an AAA game tier's quality mechanics.
