ㅤㅤ ┈─★ did i go to a sushi restaurant and end up only ordering fried meat and vegetables? perhaps. however i want it on the record that i also ate some lovely sashimi and a california roll my sister got too which was also delicious, i just didn't take pictures of that. ㅤㅤ the reason i'm posting about going to this restaurant though wasn't even because of my katsu bento /or/ the sushi, though it was all incredible. in a shocking turn of events my favorite part of this meal was by far the mussel shooters appetizer we got. ㅤㅤ i've never had mussel, raw quail egg, or what i think through research was tobiko, but oh my g o d. i didn't taste a single bit of fishiness and there was no weird textures, just the most tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy bite of heaven i've ever had in my life. i can't believe i've been missing out on something so delicious for 24 years.....truthfully i made this entire post as a reminder to myself to go back and get more mussel shooters. ㅤㅤ also as a side note though the restaurant was playing all the saddest laufey, cas, and the marías songs back to back Whilst it poured rain with lightning outside which made this the most somber sushi eating experience of my life, 12/10.
