"Terrorist acts are not the solution. We must reach Congress and the courts, that is the path to our goal." In a small town in Washington, unusual criminal events are occurring, and an FBI agent begins an investigation that points to a supremacist group. With the help of the local police, this agent must find the head of the movement to try to prevent more deaths. This is one of those films that evokes a lot of anger due to the subject matter it touches upon: a religious extremist group that believes itself superior to everyone and begins to take very violent actions to make their goal everyone's reality. What generates terror is that, set in the mid-1980s, this story is more relevant now than even in its original time, and the opening words: "Based on real events" resonate throughout the plot like a prick to the heart, making one realize that humanity is not succeeding and we are sinking little by little, just for feeling superior to others. An excellent film with top-notch performances, good direction that leaves us reflecting on our reality and how we haven't learned from the mistakes of the past. Highly recommended.
