For those who enjoy the suffering of others, yodeling, or the never-ending debate between capitalism and socialism, this film will please you. Eddie, a man with no job or income, has the wonderful idea of breaking into a van that isn't his to try and steal whatever he can. The problem is that for being nosy, he gets locked inside the van to receive a good dose of the purest and medieval beating. The film is an interesting protest, both visually and in its thesis, because who is more right: the poor thief who seeks to steal to survive, or the damned and vengeful millionaire who seeks revenge and justice in the Old Testament style? Very entertaining, and the performances of Sir Anthony Hopkins and Bill "You Never See My Face" Skarsgård are top-notch. Recommended.
