Female empowerment from a female perspective—and though that might sound redundant or obvious, it becomes much clearer after watching this movie… I hope. Millie, a young woman on parole, finds work as a house cleaner in a luxurious mansion. What initially seems like a dream job with a dream boss soon turns into something far from pleasant. It is a very refreshing and surprising story. Although it feels familiar at first, there comes a moment when the audience realizes this isn't the typical, predictable plot they expected. The acting is great across the board—everyone is very convincing. Between the performances and the excellent editing, the film gets you 100% involved; you’ll find yourself completely immersed in this twisted story. We’re off to a great start this year. Highly recommended!
