Refreshing to see something that's actually kept me at the edge of my seat! I really liked that the switches between POVs weren't disconcerting to watch, everything felt so seamless and the characters felt real and involved with each other. A lot of shows have huge casts and sometimes I struggle to feel like they actually are involved with each other's lives.

Really good movie tbh. I'm not a big fan of the songs but I loved the story. The production was great but it makes me think of a book adaptation that deserved the same quality. :( The School of Good and Evil tackles the SAME themes except it's darker. It's almost 1:1 but TSGE has more to say about Goodness and Wickedness. I haaaate what Netflix did to the movie, they mischaracterized Sophie and other main characters + they spoiled stuff you can only find out in the latter books. Doesn't make any sense. They set the movie up for a sequel but they completely botched the story so what the fuck ever. I doubt they'll make a movie sequel, the movie was mediocre at best. Cringe at most. TSGE deserved what Wicked had and i'll die on that hill

The really sad edits of this movie got me to watch it and surprisingly, it wasn't even actually sad! loved the story tho lol i tried viewing it on an illegal movie site but the one i saw had so much cuts on it. i had to stop midway through the film and 🏴‍☠️ off of 🍋‍🟩torrents lmaooo the first file i downloaded was 15GB too. WHY WAS THE FILE SO HUGE????
