I'm currently struggling and studying usage wear of macro-lithic tools for my master's. It's really a though work, but I think I'm getting to understand it. I started doing some experimentations to get a fresh set of usage wear to analyze, it really opened up my eyes!

I found one of my oldest pencil cases and I decided to wash it, put together essential tools and giving it a new purpose to assist me in fieldwork and study.

This topic is weird. A lot of researches sometimes touch this aspect while describing a sacre archeological site. However, bullshit is always right on the corner. The major risk is of finding what are you searching for and most of people who write about it are not archaeologists but like physicists, mathematicians or others. It bums me so bad that "we are all a bit archaeologists" because it feels like it give the discipline a slap in the face.

Finally. I had some igneous rocks that came from a small creek located in a northern region. I used some of those rocks for my researches and experimental archaeology, but after I finished my work I didn't knew what to do with them. Then it hit me: I'd build a dolmen underneath my cherry tree! It was so obvious, so stupid!
