i'm so happy with how these turned out. i referenced multiple recipes and made some adjustments (less sugar, butter) so i was worried that the final result was going to be messed up but.. it was actually really delicious soft and had the perfect amount of sweetness. for the outer crust part, if you want it more flaky, you add tons of butter and fold it in but i just made a quick and easy version of the dough which was obviously not flaky and rather soft/crumbly, but still really delicious. these taste so good right out of the oven :,) will definitely make more next time!! recipes: https://www.buzzfeed.com/iristian/these-egg-tarts-are-totally-custard-heaven https://youtu.be/vucTYMqyA5k

these were pretty good for being sugar free. cacao powder honestly makes everything taste good. instead of sugar i used honey for the sweetener so you need to make sure not too add too much or it will get goopy/sticky. but the first batch i made turned out nice. decorated with raspberries but they all fell off when i tried to bite into it
