for all my peeps who still use Spotify (specifically the desktop app), there is a free software you can use to customize how your Spotify looks,, i have mine set to look like Windows Media Player 11 with the WMPotify theme but there are so many other neat themes available through the spicetify marketplace!

i spent some time this morning redesigning my playlists and adding music to them. they are still a 'work in progress' in terms of music but i simply adore the aesthetics now i wish there was the option to share my playlists with friends who have access to my server,, maybe i should submit a feature request to the devs

my partner and i found a Peruvian restaurant near us so we decided to go try it. we ordered Lomo Saltdo and it was so flavorful! I'm excited to try something else on the menu next time we visit

i started using characterhub about a month ago. i mainly use it for my dungeons and dragons character, but recebtly, i started adding some of my other OC's. it's not as bad as people made it seem....so i decided to make a pros and cons list for the site: PROS • simple character profile making, with lots of customization options WITHOUT NEEDING TO USE CSS • has many social spaces you can join and/or create • lots of events to participate in • encourages engaging with the community and complementing other peoples characters, enhacing reactions (favorites) CONS • paid feature limitations (custom username color, a few character sections, achievements, art storage) • limited uploaded art storage for some reason • UI feels cluttered and busy • laggy, ESPECIALLY on mobile

i just started my re-watch of fire force, i think this show gets wayyy too much hate. I'm excited to see what they did for S3! art/animation - 9/10 exceptional animation all throughout, some supreme fight scenes and pleasing experiments with the color palette. character designs are always good and smooth when fighting. only major issue i have with the show is the fan service, it's definitely not as prevalent compared to other shows but S1 has a bit too much for my preference characters - 9/10 Shinra is a seriously great main character who gets some amazing development. the entire crew sound design - 10/10 holy shit the sounds are earbreaking in the best way, the best way to describe it is as if it is a hollywood movie or a large blockbuster, all the actions sound intense and add to the scale of the fights. the way the bass drops is soo different and should be incorporated into other high action animes. the intro and outro songs are also incredible. story - 6/10 now the story is probably weaker than the typical shounen anime but it isn't bad, just feels kind of slow at points and is largely carried by the characters and the animation.

this is my first big purchase for myself in years! i have been so excited to receive this in the mail that i was watching the tracking info everyday since i ordered it. i was looking for a way to track my health without wearing a wristband. (i have sensory issues so wearing a watch everyday can be challenging for me.) thankfully this ring is sleek and lightweight. my main concern around these wearable health trackers is the subscription that comes with them. i would be insanely upset if i paid $200+ for the ring itself, just for it to be unusable because *surprise* theres a monthy subscription.thankfully, RENPHO does not follow that business model. Information the Lynx smart ring tracks: • heart rate & heart rate variability • SpO₂ (blood oxygen) • stress levels •sleep stages and score • activity tracking for walking, running, hiking, and swimming overall, i am impressed by this ring, even though i've only worn it for a day.

i wanted to share my favorite youtube channel; kurzgesagt - in a nutshell. i've subscribed to them for a while! the quality and accessibility of their videos is what gets me. they can take complex topics and make it so that anybody can understand it, but they don’t dumb it down in a way where it feels condescending. the amount of time and effort put into their videos also clearly shows, which makes me even more certain that they care about their audience and the quality of content.
