amaze, amaze, amaze! my partner convinced me to watch PHM with him last night :] i thought the movie was a bit too long, could have used less flashbacks. otherwise the visuals were stunning and the silence during space scenes made it feel more immersive. overall, the story was heartwarming and well done! p.s. i love Ryan Gosling <3

there's a local coffee stand that setup in our apartment complex today so my partner and i decided to take a walk and get some coffee this morning! i got a regular latte with mushroom + ashwagandha, and blue spirulina cream foam on top; it was absolutely delicious! i love that they use all natural ingredients with no additives or artificial flavors. we chatted with the owner while he made our drinks and he was so pleasant and lovely! truly a great experience

another obsidian post :: my vault is starting to look filled out! it took a while to decide how i wanted to build it but it's done. lots of hours spent searching through github and gumroad for free templates and inspiration. i attached a gumroad link with some free templates for anyone who is interested. the theme i am using is called Minimal by kepano. it's clean and easy to look at on PC and mobile. for my plugins, i have 10 installed: Style Settings, Omnisearch, Importer, Better Word Count, Annotator, Various Complements, Image Converter, Text Extractor, Smart Typography, and Better Command Palette. it feels so rewarding every time a new connection is made. i truly love how my vault is coming together

one year ago today, my partner drove me to the nearest animal shelter and we picked him out of like 20 other cats. he was so tiny, weighing only like 6lbs at the time. he was immediately friendly and i'm so happy we came home with him. it was only like a month later that he started getting really sick (not eating or drinking, couldn't really move around). eventually he lost the use of his back legs and was shaking constantly. taking him to the vet turned up no answers, but thankfully, one of my partner's high school friends is a vet tech and she happen to recognize the disease; feline infectious peritonitis (a serious and usually fatal disease, also known as feline coronavirus). thanks to one of my partner's close friends, we were able to provide the necessary treatment for Pretty Boy and he fully recovered!! anyways, i feel like i'm rambling. I LOVE YOU PRETTY BOY JIM KIRK ♡

this album has been on repeat for the last few days, i keep thinking "Creatures in Heaven" the universe is huge and kind of intimidating (like a big empty void), but love keeps us grounded. the song points out that even if a relationship ends or feels like it’s over too soon, the love we shared stays alive forever in our memories. it's a mix of sweet and sad, more about celebrating what we had than mourning what’s gone.

i really enjoy this film! it's one of those where i watched it as a young kid and now i watch it every few years just because it still makes me feel good ♡

this is my first big purchase for myself in years! i have been so excited to receive this in the mail that i was watching the tracking info everyday since i ordered it. i was looking for a way to track my health without wearing a wristband. (i have sensory issues so wearing a watch everyday can be challenging for me.) thankfully this ring is sleek and lightweight. my main concern around these wearable health trackers is the subscription that comes with them. i would be insanely upset if i paid $200+ for the ring itself, just for it to be unusable because *surprise* theres a monthy subscription.thankfully, RENPHO does not follow that business model.
