Almost there! The demo is out! And as a management sim lover, I had to try this game out 😎 You act as a waitress but you own the restaurant, so you're not doing any cooking. You basically guide customers to their tables, take their orders, serve the food/drinks, and handle bill outs. The farming here isn't too heavy, though I'd saying watering your plants can be quite tedious because you can't run with the hose/while planting. Though, I'm guessing you'd get more tool upgrades in the full version of the game. You also can arrange the tables and chairs in your restaurant, all the basic stuff you'd expect from a restaurant management sim. Since it's a demo, you can only play for about an in-game week (you can't endlessly play 😔). You also can't customize your character or expand the building yet. What stood out to me the most is the minigame for taking orders + checking customers out!! Reminds me of Discounty ;) ⚠️ Controversy with the game's art style: People have been saying the art looks generated by AI. However, the artist has come out on reddit with screenshots of how they designed the game's assets. Personally, I think the screenshots are pretty comprehensive of how they worked on the designs, especially bc people were accusing the designer of rendering 2D A.I. "art" into 3D, but they debunked this by posting pictures of the process they used. However, if actual evidence shows up about disseminated work being created through AI (even though the devs didn't know about it), Id be completely turned away from purchasing the game. I'll be keeping a close eye on this game, hopefully more news comes out about its release and the devs put out a community post on Steam about the AI accusations
