Monday morning we took a walk in the area of the carvings to find new archaeological traces, trying to figure out a good way to take the survey. It was a bit hard for me, since I'm not as trained as I was before, especially for trekking, but I pulled it off nicely. Early on I met Emmanuel Anati! Literally a living legend. Right now there is a thunderstorm (like the one in my... whatever, you got it), and I feel really tired. This morning we had a lesson about the petroglyphs of this area, then we took a brief walk between rocks (because it wad already raining) and in the afternoon we started the survey again. Yesterday we walked for 13 km just by following the trail, and today I might've walked just a little bit less, because we went for s grid approach. We even re-discovered a rock carving (already recorded) that was hidden by some vegetations! I was a bit thrilled, but we were searching for something else so I didn't pay much attention to it.
