nostalgia, grief, love, trauma, hope... everything blended in together so beautifully. all the characters are really well-written. and I was absolutely not expecting that plot twist... I didn't know much abt Syria, exc for the civil war. now I'm a little bit more educated, and I really hope all their sacrifices will be worth it... > will def buy the physical book > reread worthy This one took me awhile to finish, but I wouldn't mind if it went on for a bit longer :)
