Day 2 of rewatching all of stranger things previous seasons to prepare for season 5 :) I recently discovered that people don’t like this season for some reason?? personally i enjoyed it way more than season 1 🫣 i guess objectively speaking season 1 was a better season of television, but season 2 has more rewatching value since the mystery doesn’t feel like the sole focus and we spend more time on character-driven plots making it actually fun to rewatch. here are some of my silly notes: • Max is the best addition to the cast. i really can’t imagine the show without her • Hopper was too hard on El, she’s a traumatized child that was imprisoned for all her life and when she finally gets her freedom you take it away again?? • I LOVE BOB • whoever thought of pairing Steve with Dustin, I LOVE YOU YOU’RE A GENIUS literally one of the best tv duos ever created • if Steve Harrington has no fans, it’s because i’m dead • I get why everyone hates “The Lost Sister.” I’m sorry, but did they really waste Jane’s mother on this stupid storyline and think people would like it?? the idea of another kid escaping Hokines lab then meeting El and having a sisterly bond with her isn’t bad at all, but they execute it terribly. • Bob’s death was completely unnecessary smh • my girl Nancy is so smart she single handedly shut down a government agency (that detective was there too ig 🙄) • Joyce went through so much i need her to get a happy ending without losing anyone she loves favorite characters this season: Steve Joyce Dustin Max Nancy
