to any future academics reading this, heed the advice of all those who preceded you, don't say I'll read most things then write, just start writing after the 2nd read. i should've done it sooner but thankfully i have enough time to write the whole paper in relative comfort.
the thing is im unfamiliar with the theoretical concept i picked so it took a bit of time to get used to it but the cool thing about eng lit analysis is not wether you understand everything about the concept, its how you apply it in your methodology in a way that doesn't betray its elements or your ideas.
that being said i am actively feeling like did i even study anything ever but also i know enough to have gotten to this point. i really feel the sharpness of learning to regurgitate information vs learning to produce your own interpretation.
