This is one of the most beautifully written books I've ever read. I mean the atmosphere, emotions, metaphors, the symbolism, imagery & the writting itself is poetic & unforgettable. The way the boy explores his first love & watches it fade way makes it equally unforgettable and painful. Although, I'd agree that there were very few scenes which strikes to me as deeply uncomfortable (I'm sure it will to others as well) but overall it was one of my best reads. Also this book contains my favourite quote of all time.
I've always chosen to die but maybe someday, someday for sure I will speak.
