i'm such a sucker for dystopian stories, and this is making me want to read the novel. i've heard a lot of people say the books do a much better job with the worldbuilding and characters, so i might have to check them out for myself.

honestly, this was pretty confusing to me. i think a big part of that is because i'm not familiar with the backrooms lore at all. i feel like there are a lot of details and references that probably went over my head. might look more into the lore and give this another watch someday—i have a feeling i'll appreciate it a lot more once i understand what's actually going on.
