Avatar the Last Airbender Season 2
영화 / TV
*sigh* I don’t know what to say. I liked and hated it at the same time. First of all, why is there no sun??? The whole series is gloomy and maybe it’s symbolic to show how dire the situation is but damn, even in this life, we still get some sun. 2. The first four episodes were such a bore and everything happened backwards. I understand that not everything will happen like the way it did in the original series but… I was expecting more, especially from Toph. Speaking of Toph, what do you mean she could feel everything when she was in the spirit world? I thought her bending helps her see with her feet but since one can’t bend in the spirit world, how could she feel? Or am I wrong? 3. Azula’s character greatly improved and I found her very entertaining. I knew she would deliver. 4. What I don’t understand is why they had to focus on minor characters like Sai, even going to the extent of giving him a love interest, why? 5. Another one was Sokka mourning Yue when he literally knew her for a day. And the lines the original Sokka said in the desert being juxtaposed cause he drank cactus juice from a party? I didn’t find it funny when it should have been hilarious. The show was very anticlimactic. I never felt excited while watching it, especially when Toph invented metalbending. Everything was just… meh, except when Azula struck Aang through his chest with his lightning. I literally gasped in horror. I’ll still watch season 3 because I love Avatar despite it being lackluster.

Zack Snyder's Justice League
영화 / TV
I went in thinking I’m doing a re-watch but then some scenes came across and I was like, “wait, what? Did this happen?” No. Because this was directed differently and I’m glad it wasn’t shown in the cinemas because it was very overwhelming while the original one was underwhelming. No in between. I’m not a dc fan, so I don’t completely understand the universe like marvel. But one thing for sure is that they get inspo from marvel like the last scene where Batman sees into the future similar to when Tony stark did on the “age of ultron”. Also, Wonder Woman pairs perfectly with either Superman or Aquaman. *gasp* who said that? Anyways, the movie was a bunch of everything and nothing at the same time. I think, they would have summarized what we watched in the original and focus on the new parts. Those 3 hours felt like a waste of time unlike Endgame even though some scenes were important Another thing, you’re trying to tell me destroyer of worlds was defeated by six superheroes while Thanos had to be dealt with by hundreds of thousands? Also, some scenes did not make sense like Barry doing that speed of light thingy towards the end but in the original, he had the time to push a car full of civilians outside the city and still find time to do round trips around to “charge up”? I don’t know but it didn’t make sense considering that it was not night time when they destroyed the antagonist in the original or am I remembering it wrong? And then the fight scenes, especially with Batman felt “fake”. I don’t know how to describe it but it felt as if the enemies were pulled back before he could hit them. You get? And coming back to the future Batman saw, does that mean Superman will turn bad? And what happened to Arthur? Does he die? Or get injured? How will they fix the amber heard part? I thought she died in aquaman 2, Or did she die afterwards? Things that I loved though: 1. Wonder Woman fight scenes 2. The Amazon fight scene (but how did PETA allow those horses to die on screen?) 3. The speed of light reversing time. 4. Alfred. This was honestly one of my worst watches this month except for “off campus” but I’ll still watch the next one cause the fight is not done. I guess lex Luther has to die like the other lex Luther in the new Superman movies or not? Also does dc also have alternate universes?
