The second volume is better than the first!! Growth, Communication, and Connection!! I enjoy how comfortable they’ve become with each other and how much more willing Suzume and Keishi are to share their feelings and struggles.

Peak office romance!! The dynamic between Suzume and Keishi is so good with one being a flustered overthinker and the other being confident and indulging. I like that we get to see both of their points of view as they fall in love. The conflict pushes their relationship but is quickly resolved.

My second time attending an Aespa concert and I cannot emphasize how fun it is seeing them live!! They played banger after banger and kept the energy up throughout the night. I LOVED the subunit stages and I’m glad I avoided spoilers because it made it all the more impactful. Ning Ning and Giselle’s Lollipop stage….oh how I love women ‎٩(⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)و ♡

Hearts2hearts is on a generational run

If there’s one thing to say about WOODZ it’s that his vocals are untouchable! Hearing Drowning live was an ethereal experience that I can’t recommend enough. I’ve been a casual listener but I’m definitely going to be watching his music more closely. Live band was also amazing!

My absolute favorite album to come out of her discography thus far. Has been on repeat nonstop since its release. Favorites: expectations + stupid song + begged + maggots for brains

Nakamura my sweet angel baby, I just want to give him a hug!! This series is so perfectly titled because you truly find yourself rooting for Nakamura to push himself out of his comfort zone and, essentially, go for it! I liked that we get to see so much of his personality, even the aspects that are silly, awkward, or seemingly uncool. I enjoyed the flow of the story and how each snippet shows the evolution of the character’s relationship from strangers to now friends. Can’t wait to get my hands on volume two and see what happens~!

Irene & Seulgi will never fumble, even if SM is actively sabotaging them - because what is this release/promotion cycle ｡°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°｡ A surprise release but every song hits soooooo good. Perhaps my favorite from them as a subunit. This album just emanates cool girl energy, I really hope we get to see live performances! Favorites: Wave + Love Anxiety + Free (really the whole mini but if I HAD to choose)

I love seeing our main couple get closer, but I’m also LOVING seeing Mitsuki slowly come out of her shell and be more comfortable presenting as her true self. Both with Aya AND with the rest of the friend group. My favorite part of this volume was definitely the Okinawa trip~! <3

Have been revisiting this album a lot recently since it’s gotten a second wind and reminded me how much I enjoyed it. Perfevt curation of the weird girl vibe. Favorites: Wet Hair + Phoebe + Shooting Star

I always love seeing a relationship post the initial confession. Obviously the excitement of seeing them get together is a huge draw, but I find equal satisfaction seeing them be happy with each other and having their relationship develop. This was a great follow up the first volume! As before I enjoy the fashion aspect of the story and I liked that we got to meet other students from the school. Rin and Miki are a fun addition and I hope we get to see more of them. Regarding our main couple, I enjoyed seeing Ai and Chiaki be mutually possessive. While there was jealousy they never took it out on each other OR on the person causing the jealousy. Instead they turned towards each other and expressed their emotions in a way that brought them closer and soothed anxieties.

First and foremost the fashion aspect of this manga is what drew me in and it does not disappoint. I like that we get new and different looks for both our main characters throughout the story instead of relying on a generic image of punk. Story itself is excellent~ The big twist comes pretty early on, and the rest of the plot focuses on how our characters (Chiaki, Ai, and Enaga) deal/react with the issue at hand and each other. Without saying too much I really enjoyed the dual aspect of the relationship and seeing how feelings evolve and develop. I also appreciate that there were more edgy aspects to the relationship without overstepping boundaries or leaning into questionable dynamics. (This is my second read through and I’m excited to get to the sequel)
